Earth Hour 2009

Wow!! I'm amazed and proud with how people responded to Earth Hour 2009, which was yesterday 28 March 2009 from 8.30pm to 9.30pm. I was having dinner at Queensbay Mall and when i left Secret Recipe after my dinner, i was astonished by the sight of the dim lighting in Body Glove outlet. Glancing at my watch, i knew that it was 8.33pm. "Wow, people now are getting more aware of Mother Earth's suffering..." I thought. Though my family was in Queensbay, my mum reminded our maid to switch off most of the lights at home (leaving some lights on as it would be pitch dark at night as well as for safety) :)

Well, a big round of applause to those who made this great project a success!! :) And to those who missed it, it's alright...you can try to play your part next year. To create awareness among the people about the need to care for Earth, Earth Hour is held annually on the last Saturday of March from 8.30pm to 9.30pm...
